PreciosPy does not create user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address or other identifying data to use the site. You can compare prices without registering. The only data you send to our servers on your own initiative are the optional reports described in section 4.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The site uses localStorage in your browser for three exclusively local purposes:
None of this data is sent to our servers. It is stored only on your device and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising platforms, and the site has no visit-analytics tool, whether our own or a third party's. The hosting provider may log access metadata (section 7).
Prices, product names and images are obtained by automated reading of each retailer's public website. We store only:
All data is publicly accessible and belongs to the respective stores. PreciosPy presents it in consolidated form solely to help Paraguayan consumers compare prices.
The Real estate section publishes aggregate statistics (by city, neighbourhood and property type) calculated from InfoCasas and RE/MAX Paraguay listings; no list of individual listings is published at present. Card promotions come from each bank's public source. Amounts in other currencies use open.er-api.com exchange rates built into the site when it is generated or, in Real estate, the BCP rate: your browser does not query any exchange-rate service.
We do not store the contact details of those who advertise property listings (phone numbers, WhatsApp, emails or names): they are discarded when each listing is read. We also do not keep the text of the descriptions. Phone numbers, emails and links are removed from each listing's title, which we use only internally to classify it, before it is saved, and only an opaque code is stored for the agency.
The site has report buttons on product pages ("Wrong product?") and, when offers are shown, on Real estate pages ("Report a problem"). If you use them, the following is sent to our database:
We use these codes only to limit how often reports can be sent (at most 10 per hour per user) and to count reports from different people. The rate counters are kept in Cloudflare KV and expire after one hour. Please do not include personal data in the note.
Reports, together with their derived codes, are kept for review and to improve the comparisons, and are deleted 12 months after they are created by a daily automated process.
Every price shown on PreciosPy includes a direct link to the product at the originating store. Store names and logos are registered trademarks of their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only.
Product images are loaded directly from each retailer's servers or its content delivery network, so those servers can see your IP address and browser when you open a page with images. Links to retailers, banks and property portals lead to other sites, with their own privacy policies. Fonts are served from our own domain.
The site, its server functions and the rate counters are hosted on Cloudflare, which may log access metadata (IP address, user agent) under its own privacy policy. The database of products, prices and reports is hosted on Neon (PostgreSQL). The site is available at https://preciospy.app; the former domains redirect to it.
We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be reflected in the update date at the top of this page.
PreciosPy does not publish an email address. To point out an error or raise a question about this data, use the report button on product pages ("Wrong product?") and on Real estate pages ("Report a problem"). Because reports contain no data that identifies you, we do not send individual replies and cannot locate a specific report: all of them are deleted after 12 months.
